Adani wins ₹25,000 crore HVDC project
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) won its biggest project to date after securing a ₹25,000 crore contract for the Bhadla-Fatehpur High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission project.
AESL plans to develop six large 6 GW HVDC terminal stations in Bhadla, Rajasthan, and Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh through an 800 kV HVDC cable system extending 950 km between these two locations.
Our initiative lets Rajasthan Phase-III Part-I Renewable Energy Zone send 20 GW of renewable power to the grid.
AESL’s pipeline of under-construction projects now totals ₹54,700 crore thanks to this new undertaking.
The company maintains a 26,485-mile transmission network network which advances India’s electrical infrastructure development.
