Nvidia partners with Reliance, Tata to enhance India’s AI infrastructure

NVIDIA has partnered with Reliance Industries and Tata Group to strengthen AI infrastructure in India, aiming to make the country a global hub for AI development. Through this partnership, Nvidia will provide its advanced AI computing technology, including its GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip, to power AI infrastructure projects.

The Reliance Jio platforms will focus on building AI-powered supercomputers and cloud-based infrastructure, enabling generative AI applications designed for local languages ​​to be implemented with energy-efficient AI solutions, a it can be adapted for across India This scheme is expected to help various sectors. Jio will also use Nvidia’s DGX cloud service to host AI capabilities across data centers in India.

On the other hand, Tata Communications and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will collaborate with NVIDIA to develop AI cloud infrastructure. This will support next-generation AI applications for enterprise customers, enabling faster data transfer and processing across industries. TCS plans to develop generative AI solutions, which will help enhance the skills of its employees and drive digital transformation across various Tata businesses.

The collaboration is seen as a step towards democratizing AI access in India, in line with the country’s broader ambition to be a leader in AI technology globally.
