Dassault Aviation plans to set up a new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh aimed at supporting the Rafale and Mirage-2000 fighter jets of the Indian Air Force’s Department of Dassault Aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul India ( expected DAMROI) will start operations within six months. This MRO facility is part of India’s broader Self-Reliance (Aatmanri) programme, which focuses on enhancing domestic defense capabilities.
DAMROI will play a key role in maintaining the Indian Air Force’s fleet of 36 Rafale aircraft and about 50 Mirage 2000 aircraft.
